Another example of our pseudo-secularism.

Another confirmation of the fact that the motive of the muslims is to reduce us to a minority, and wipe us out. And we still believe in secularism, dont we? Of course, its a holy cow.

A UP minister asks muslims to have as many kids as possible.

And also, he is willing to hand out money for the same. Any guesses about the minister's religion?

I am surprised to took the comment by the minister at face value, in spite of being quite sharp. That is just petty vote bank politics and I am sure you understand that this minister doesn't give two hoots about Muslims/Hindus/Christians or how many kids they have as long as those kids vote for him/his party.

Look beyond the obvious, as you asked me to do.

How is the sum of 1400/- determined, why not 1300 or 1500. Do they know how many women would produce how many "healthy" kids apriori. What is great minister!!!

OI,

Yeah yeah, I have heard it all before. There is nothing new in what you are telling me.

But the point is - why does vote bank politics succeed?

Anon,
Well, I wonder how many of them will actually get their 1400. The kids will beg on the streets of the cities, as usual. Or become terrorists. Or sit around sharpening their knives and swords waiting for some riots to happen.

@Shadows

"Yeah Yeah...." - you didn't say what you think though? You think that minister really meant it or was it vote bank politics? There is nothing new and thats what is so sad about this.

Easiest answer to your question -
[lack of] education and the tendency of people (even educated ones) to keep living in the past. His father wasn't fair to my father so I will not be fair to him. Awesome logic!

@ OI,

Shorter answer - They are not fair to us even today.

Sfrank312,

With all respect, education does not mean accepting any stupid POV. You wont stop defending yourself if you are educated.

First of all I am not defending. You are the "defender" or religion and religious biases.

Secondly, yes, I will stop debating when someone doesn't want to engage in debate and veers away from direct questions.

Take care buddy. Your view of the world and my view are very different and frankly I neither have the time nor the inclination to try and change the views of someone like you who in spite of being educated can get sucked into the petty politics of religion.

Visit this blog and continue the debate if you so want. Krish has enough time on his hands to debate you point for point.

Why are you talking about education again and again. In fact, most of the educated class do not believe in this pseudosecularism. What do you have to say to that.

You mentioned Krish.. LOLzz.. hahahahaha.. ROFL.. No, thank you.
