Is the terrorist uneducated and poor?

The myth of the "poor misguided Muslims turn terrorist" is busted.

For a long time, on other blogs, I have been commenting on this topic. That the popular impression that poverty, illiteracy or lack of education, etc drive muslims to terrorism is just that. An impression. Its not the real truth. Why else would the oil-rich middle east countries be the countries exporting terrorism? Its ideology that drives them, not lack of money or knowledge.

I feel vindicated.
